NEW THING COMING What's that felony melody pervading through the static? Parading masquerading with the haircut tragic. You hear no message though the lips are moving, just an automatic tuner and a mouthful of cruel. Can genius appear in a bottle of whisky? Can intelligence come through a cup of coffee? I don't know if this is real so I won't say sorry, I'll keep on looking for a different story. Or another sign, or a different line, to open up some minds. New thing coming. A new thing coming around. They couldn't save their lives, they didn't see it coming. A new thing coming. A new thing coming around. They couldn't save their lives, they didn't see it come, come, coming. I can't escape it, it's boring me stiff, there's no risk in the lyric or the hint of a riff. Inconsistency from them to me is too much to miss, but of all the things I hate there's none as bad as this - I get a bar-room brawl in my square foot of floor, they get security guards and a ride to the door. I've got a ready mind - I'm not scared to use it, they've got a star on the door and a head full of stupid. I need another sign, or a different line, I wanna blow some minds! New thing coming. A new thing coming around. They couldn't save their lives, they didn't see it coming. A new thing coming. A new thing coming around. They couldn't save their lives, they didn't see it coming. When all is said and done, I am not the only one to think about the lie. But I am not a lie. I am not a lie. New thing coming. A new thing coming around. They couldn't save their lives, they didn't see it coming. A new thing coming. A new thing coming around. They couldn't save their lives, they didn't see it coming. A new thing coming.(DEPTH CHARGE COMING).A new thing coming around. They couldn't save their lives, they didn't see it coming.

BRIGHTER LIGHTS I believe no truth that you don't tell me. I read from my own lines, and I see great designs. There is no line to cross, there is no black and white. We live with our despite. Before the walls all fell around me with a shrug of resignation, I forgot where I was going when I reached my destination. When I did not see, I remember I felt no fear. I remember running away, into the night, with a pocket full of money and a head full of much, much brighter lights. I feel for those who chide "look after me and mine", when all I ask for is forgiveness for my weaknesses. There is no line to cross, there is no black and white. We live with our despite. Before the walls all fell around me with a shrug of resignation, I forgot where I was going when I reached my destination. When I did not see, I remember I felt no fear. I remember running away, into the night, with a pocket full of money and oblivion in sight. When I did not see, I remember I felt no fear. I remember running away, into the night, with a pocket full of money and a head full of much, much brighter lights. I'm in need of some repair. I've battered my own head with despair. I need something to fix the holes, because the weather's coming in. I'm filling in the cracks, I'm bolting all the doors. Please no more attacks. I'm sick and tired of wars. And as the walls came crashing in, I saw a sky of crimson sin, and black and white was coloured in. When I did not see, I remember I felt no fear. I remember running away, into the night, with a pocket full of money and oblivion in sight. When I did not see, I remember I felt no fear. I remember running away, into the night, with a pocket full of money and a head full of much, much brighter lights.

Electricity 05:25
ELECTRICITY I suppose you think it feels like electricity. But it's really just a playground for the phantoms of your history. 'cos you're stuck in your brain with the shame and the shackles of misery. Lots of time for complaining, and savouring each little victory. 'Cos with you there's no seeing beyond the obvious. There's no feeling beyond the loneliness. I could pull out your feathers, break back your wings, tie you in knots and then cut off the strings, but you wouldn't feel a thing, would you? You wouldn't feel a thing. You wouldn't feel a thing, would you? You wouldn't feel a thing. You wouldn't feel a thing. I suppose you think it feels like your world is in motion. But I'm seriously starting to question your intelligence quotient. 'Cos you're stuck in a time when your presence inspired devotion. But it's all in your mind, you're just another drop in the ocean. 'Cos with you there's no seeing beyond the obvious. There's no feeling beyond the loneliness. You say you need some more dubloons to be someone, we're just here for a second and then we are gone. You've never felt a thing, have you? You've never felt a thing. You've never felt a thing have you? You've never felt a thing. You've never felt a thing. I'd come up to see you and meet you halfway, but it's hard to predict what you're feeling today. Misery and victory - it's all electricity, and St. Elmo's Fire is coming to burn you away. 'Cos with you there's no seeing beyond the obvious. There's no feeling beyond the loneliness, and I could pull out your feathers, break back your wings, tie you in knots and then cut off the strings. But you wouldn't feel a thing, would you? You wouldn't feel a thing. You wouldn't feel a thing would you? You wouldn't feel a thing. You wouldn't feel a thing.

Hurricanes 04:37
The pictures aren't sepia, they're bloodstained and faded. The silent siren's blaring but the echoes are wasted. Remnants sick and shackled, and roses and bones. Floating things that mattered and memories of home. Love 'til the, love 'til the, love 'til the end. Moments of panic do not compare, to a brief recognition or a glimpse of her hair. "Missing since Katrina, my daughter have you seen her" Love and pain are still hurricanes inside us, inside us, inside us. In silence, in silence, in silence. And liquor tastes like wine to those of the mind for looking and remembering - there's no forgiving and no forgetting. And there's no need to chase the passing pyres of human hate, no olive branch could take the weight. The tide of human decimation. Love 'til the, love 'til the, love 'til the end. "Missing since Katrina, my daughter have you seen her" Love and pain are still hurricanes inside us, inside us, inside us. In silence, in silence, in silence. Love 'til the, love 'til the, love 'til the end. Love 'til the, love 'til the, love 'til the end. Love 'til the, love 'til the, love 'til the, love 'til the, love 'til the, love 'til the, love 'til the love 'til the end.
