about

This track is taken from the album Paul Liddell & Delphians - LIVE. The album was recorded at a gig in a tiny room upstairs at The Grey Horse pub in Whitburn Village, Sunderland. There were only 80 people at the gig. I hope you're enjoying the intimate vibe of the album. Thanks!

lyrics

The pictures aren't sepia/they're bloodstained and faded
The silent siren is blaring/but the echoes are wasted
Remnants sick and shackled/and roses and bones
Floating things that mattered and memories of homes

Love 'til the end

Moments of panic do not compare
To a brief recognition or a glimpse of her hair
Missing since Katrina her daughter have you seen her?
Love and pain are still hurricanes

Inside us. In silence.

And liquor tastes like wine to those of the mind
For looking and remembering - there's no forgiving and no forgetting
And there's no need to chase the passing pyres of human hate
No olive branch could take the weight
The tide of human decimation

Love 'til the end

Missing since Katrina - her daughter have you seen her
Love and pain are still hurricanes

Inside us. In silence.
Love 'til the end.
